Fabco-Air, Inc. is the proud originator of the Original Pancake® air cylinder, a revolutionary compact actuator first introduced in 1958 by founder Alfred W. Schmidt. Designed to deliver full cylinder performance in tight spaces, the Fabco Original Pancake® compact air cylinder quickly became the industry standard. While many have tried to imitate it, none have matched its quality, strength, and longevity.

Originally founded in Cleveland, Ohio, Fabco-Air relocated to Gainesville, Florida in 1970. Today, our 61,000 sq. ft. facility houses all core operations—from engineering and technical support to production, assembly, and customer service. This integrated approach allows us to maintain tight quality control and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Now part of the Festo Group, Fabco-Air continues to lead the way in pneumatic innovation. In addition to the Original Pancake®, we offer a full line of pneumatic products, including:
